Solenco 1

In April 2009, Solenco and its consortium partners submitted an application for a grant under the Federal REDP scheme to develop an 80MW solar-thermal power station near Mildura in Victoria, to be known as Solenco 1.

Despite the project being shortlisted for a grant in November 2009, Solenco was advised in May 2010 that its application was unsuccessful.
