Wind Projects

Hepburn windLeonards Hill (Hepburn Wind Co-operative)

The Hepburn Wind community-owned wind farm at Leonards Hill near Daylesford was developed by Future Energy. The two turbines were connected to the local grid on 17 May 2011 and began generating energy on 22 June 2011 after commissioning was completed.

Current constraints within the local network are limiting the amount of energy being fed in to the grid, however these contstraints are expected to be removed early in 2012.

As at 14 January 2012, the wind farm had generated almost 5,000 MWh of clean renewable energy. For more information visit www.hepburnwind.com.au
