Wind Projects

Hepburn Wind

Future Energy Pty Ltd is working with the Hepburn Community Wind Park Co-Operative Ltd to establish Australia’s first community-owned wind park, situated in the Shire of Hepburn within 10 kms of Daylesford.

The project has progressed steadily since planning approval was received to the point where over 90% of the required funds have been raised, and an order has been paced for turbines. Construction is expected to start on the Leonard’s Hill site later in 2010.
