About Future Energy Pty Ltd

Since its establishment in 2003, Future Energy has built an enviable reputation within the renewable energy industry for the quality and creativity of its projects and the integrity of its business dealings.

We ensure that landowners who own potential development sites are treated fairly and remunerated adequately. We work closely with planning and environmental consultants, engineers, power companies and, of course, local and state governments to ensure all planning and regulatory requirements are met. We place great importance on maintaining good relations with communities that may be impacted by our projects, and we seek their positive support wherever possible..

Future Energy is committed to creating investment opportunities in its projects for communities, landholders, and individual and corporate investors – very similar to the successful ownership models which are common in Europe. Our project at Leonards Hill near Daylesford  is Australia’s first community-owned wind farm, and the two turbines commenced feeding power to the local grid in June 2011.

Renewable energy is now a genuine alternative both as an energy source and an investment opportunity. Future Energy has positioned itself to take advantage of the significant growth of  the renewable energy sector which recent and upcoming legislative changes will stimulate.
